LET YOUR ACCESSORIES DO THE TALKING.
Accessories can either make an outfit simply extraordinary and be the ultimate fashion companion. Or they can be a complete failure, if not done with care and caution.
I’m going to give you a few easy pointers to ensure your rocking your accessories, like Vogue fashion editor’s Anna Wintour and Christine Centenera at NY fashion week.
The number one rule is not to let your accessories over run your outfit, you want to subtly compliment and enhance it.
Take size and balance into consideration. If your going to wear a statement piece, choose only one item as the focal point and let the other accessories take the back seat. You don’t want them fighting for the spotlight.
Remember to try think outside the box. Accessories don’t always need to always be in the form of jewellery, bags, shoes or scarfs. Why not try letting your make up be the accessory. Think lady danger red lipstick or a vintage bold cat eye.
It doesn’t need to cost the world to standout and be the hero of your outfit. For example this Asos Collection sphere cage clutch bag, is such a fabulous piece and only cost me $40 AUD. Yep you heard me right, talk about a bargain.
Still a little unsure and feel lost in the accessorising department?? Try looking to social media platforms like instagram and/or pinterest for some extra inspiration. Alternatively I would be happy to hold your hand on your next shopping trip for you would feel more comfortable ( More details here )
