7 questions I frequently get asked as a fashion expert. Everything from why and how I got into fashion to my style icons.
Why I got into fashion … It’s hard to pin point exactly when or why fashion became my career as I can’t ever remember a time I wanted to do anything else. I can remember traipsing around in my mother’s high heels at maybe 5 or 6 years old all the time, changing outfits several times day to asking for a sewing machine on my 16th Birthday. Fashion for me was always what I enjoyed so it just became a natural progression or as some may call it ‘my destiny’. I’m lucky I got to make a career out of what I loved doing and dreamt of from a young age.
My favourite fashion quote… ‘Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.’ – Rachel Zoe.
What is my style … I’m never too fixed on one particular style or look. I think this comes from being a bit of a creative person and wanting to explore new things and styles. I tend to enjoy new trends and dress for where I am, what occasion or what mood I’m in. If anything perhaps I lean towards more structured fashion pieces that highlight form and fit.
